For the summer, there is daily meditation each morning Monday though Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:20 AM. On Sunday early morning meditation starts at 7:40 AM and ends at 9:00 AM.
Each Sunday we will be meeting for meditation and dharma talk starting at 10:00 AM. For those who wish to engage in work practice on Sunday morning, please come at 9:30 AM.
Meditation is accompanied by a jikido, the person who runs the meditation hall and rings the bell. It will include two periods of sitting with walking meditation in between. You are welcome to drop in. When you arrive after sitting has already started, please sit in the Sangha room and enter the meditation hall during walking meditation.
Members and nonmembers are welcome. Non-members are requested to donate $2 at the door.
Functional silence (quiet, mindful communication) is encouraged before and after sitting.
Sensei will be available daily for Daisan with senior students only. Meditation instruction is available on request.
